Answer:

Mediacom inadvertently pushed the incorrect configuration file to your cable modem router. This file sets up the cable modem router as a bridge modem. When this happens, only one PC or device will be able to get to the internet. Another symptom is that you can no longer log into the router as its default IP Address of 192.168.0.1. It is only accessible at the IP Address of 192.168.100.1. This can happen suddenly, even if your network had been working fine for some time before.

If this has happened to your Motorola Cable Modem Router, call Motorola Support at 1-800-753-0797 and provide the Motorola Technical Support Representative with the CM MAC of the unit. Motorola will work with Mediacom's national engineering group to send the correct configuration file to your unit. Motorola will notify you when this is done, at which point you will need to reset your cable modem router.

To reset the cable modem router, you must first disconnect the coaxial cable from the unit. Then push the reset button on the back of the unit, hold down for 30 seconds. Then reconnect the coaxial cable back to the unit. You should now be up and running properly and able to connect multiple devices to your network.
